128-bit encryption, or domestic grade, is the most secure method of transmitting sensitive information. If you do not currently use a 128-bit browser, you can download one free at the following locations:

  1. Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 on the Microsoft Web site
    (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie6/downloads/critical/ie6sp1/default.mspx)

Windows XP Service Pack 2 on the Microsoft Web site
    (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/sp2/default.mspx)

Note: If you are running Windows 2000, installing the latest version of Internet Explorer will not change the current level of encryption on your computer, you will need to install the Windows 2000 High Encryption Pack.
Windows 2000 High Encryption Pack on the Microsoft Web site
    (http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/downloads/recommended/encryption/default.asp)

  2. Mozilla Firefox (latest update) on the Mozilla Corporation Web site
    (http://www.mozilla.com)

  3. Apple Safari
Keep your software up-to-date by regularly choosing Apple Menu >> Software Update... and installing all items.
